The State of Samuel is the home-recorded music of Stockholm, Sweden's Samuel Petersson. As well as having a string of releases over the past six years, Sam also plays live with various other Stockholm area bands. While the music I've heard is charming enough to be considered twee, the guitars are aggressive enough for me to understand the GBV comparisons I read in some of the reviews.
The song featured here was released in 2005 by Kittridge Records on the compilation Homemade Hits Vol. 2.
